The most attractive features of Svetlana Seredina's works are their sincerity, high spirits, optimism together with high quality painting, which is a rare combination nowadays.

Seredina's paintings show stable tradition of reality art.

This art came to Russia from Western Europe in the 18th century and took deep root in abundant land of Russian culture. If became natural, accepted lyricism of Russian soul and at the same time bright sensual feeling of surrounding world.

Seredina is a painter for whom positive values of life are undoubted. Subtle feeling of ancient Russian architecture as spiritual center of the world of nature is a characteristic feature of her landscapes, joyful, splendid blossoming of bunches is in her still lifes, contemplation and tenderness in her son's portraits - this is the world of the painter.

At the same time Seredina is a master of brush, she has an emotional stroke and fresh colour decisions.

Anxious search of the 20 century art, aspiration to establish new world, new reality, expressing confusion of the mind before unknownability of the world, loneliness of a human soul, gave up place to the desire of clearness, peace and calmness to the and of the century.

Svetlana Seredina's art appeal to the best in a human soul and presents to the spectator a clear and harmonic world.
